This Sunday Stephen walked us through the truth about our inheritance in Jesus. He spoke at length from 1 Peter 1:3-5, where Peter says how our inheritance is imperishable, undefiled, unfading and kept. This week in Community Groups talk about what it means to inherit all things.

This week we look ahead to Sunday and prepare our hearts for what God wants to do! This week we’re looking at Ephesians 1:7-10 with our main idea being: In Jesus’ blood we have been forgiven in order that we can live into God’s plan.
After Sunday’s message, Ian encourages us to download a copy of this week’s Bible Study and to work through it before you come to Community Group. This week we are focussing on a the reality of being adopted into God’s family and what that means when we let that sink in.
Ian introduces the new field guides that were created for this series and walks everyone through them. These are going to be great resources for deep Community Group discussion during the week.
Stephen talks about the upcoming series in Ephesians and encourages you to start preparing your heart for this journey. As the Community Groups have committed to studying this letter, perhaps it’s a commitment you want to make personally too. Watch until the end to see the series teaser.

As we look forward to Ian’s installation on Sunday, Stephen challenges all of us to think about what our involvement is going to look like at Wilson FBC in the year(s) to come. God has readied Ian for this season and he is also readying his church here in Wilson, which means he is readying you too. Lets spend sometime considering what that looks like.
Ian reminds us of the question to consider this week at Community Groups. What does it look like to LIVE CHURCH in the future through making disciples? Lets make sure we spend a little time dreaming this week about what church can look like in the years to come. God what do you want your church to look like?
Now that Community Groups are finished for the week, we look ahead to Sunday. Stephen wants us to start dreaming a little. What does it look like for us to live church, in light of who Jesus is, well in the future? Sunday we’ll spend time exploring the idea of discipleship and what that actually means for us moving forward.
Marlo Joseph Hay will be dedicated on Sunday, January 1, 2017. Please come and show Hay household your loving support and commitment.
Church Vision Casting
Sunday will mark the beginning of a year long journey of vision casting/living. We believe that God want’s us to unpack what it means to LIVE CHURCH. So over the course of the year, everything we will do will be done to understand that more.
To help facilitate the vision casting process there will now be a help desk available in the Basement Loft before and after church on Sundays. This will a great place to ask any questions that you have as well as get to know our new Pastor, Ian.
